While COVID-19 runs its course, our cabin fever reaches unknown new heights...
Those of us bold enough to test the waters (while also being cautious) are optimistically planning our Safaris again for 2021.
Yes, we don't know what to expect in months, even years to come. But we do know the wildlife have returned to a more natural pre- human settlement state and are incredibly relaxed and abundant at the moment. It's the perfect time to be planning when you can add Africa to your bucket list - an adventure that will undoubtedly stay with you for your lifetime.
For those of you that are eager to cure your cabin fever ASAP and immerse in the wonders of nature again, these are our proposed tour dates for African Safaris in 2021.
Every year we have a number of inquiries from teachers and other professionals that base their holidays and travels around annual school holidays. In the past we've timed our tours to fall neatly over a school holiday period, but in 2020 we introduced our 21-day Multi-country itinerary, both July and Sep-Oct dates of which sat over Australian school holidays but were unfortunately too long and not a fit.
In 2021, we've answered your requests and added a suite of 2021 Australian School Holiday Safaris to our range of dates/options:
2021 Australian School Holiday Safaris:
*If anyone is interested in these dates specifically, inquire right away. There is a waiting list for 2021 school holiday trips and your ideal dates might not last long. If you have alternative date suggestions, please also contact us ASAP.
In addition to including school holiday specific dates, we will also host our regular Safaris. Our three itineraries will fall across the
early-season period (Apr-May), timed with a period of lush grass growth and new animal life after the wet season rains that fall from Nov-Mar; and the more common
mid-year to dry-season period (Jul-Oct), when waters are drying up, animals are attracted into closer proximity when they drink, and also including the Great
Migration peak crossings of the Mara River, Jul-Sep/Oct.
